The shadow hides beyond the veil
Under hill and over dale
It takes our hearts and drinks our ale
The monster sees all from beyond the veil
I can see it watching me when I fail
It trips us and rips us
you can see its tail
under your bed
The thing with the dress and the veil
And then you wake,
You see it next to you
the veil is gone, its you
Its him, its her, its us

Music, Music, Music
Ok, Soooooo many new albums have come out this year. A Day to Remember came out with What Separates You From Me, Senses Fail came out with The Fire, Chiodos brought out their new singer for Illuminaudio etc.
But still, in the next like two months there's like three new albums coming out! Dance Gavin Dance is BACK with Downtown Battle Mountain Part II which should be fucking EPIC. They have Jonny Craig AND John Mess back so (for the most part) the old band's back. A month earlier Bayside and the new band D.R.U.G.S. comes out with their albums. Bayside will bring the masses Killing Time which looks awesome because, lets face it, when isn't Bayside awesome? D.R.U.G.S. (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) which just happens to be CRAIG OWENS' new band will bring out their debut D.R.U.G.S. which will be awesome TOO!
Here, I'll do a review of the aforementioned:
A Day To Remember What Separates You From Me:
Rating: 8 out of 10
Why: This was a good album, sure, it was a lot more pop than punk. It had some true popcore songs like Sticks & Bricks and You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic and of course the pure hardcore heavy hitter 2nd Sucks. On the other hand, songs like It's Complicated and Out Of Time are two very pop-punky songs, which I don't like as much.
Senses Fail The Fire:
Rating: 6 out of 10
Why: I'm not a huge Senses Fail fan, mainly because of Buddy's voice. The new album is about half good, songs like Lifeboats, The Fire, New Years Day are all great. Unfortunately Saint Anthony, Irish Eyes and Hold on aren't so good.
And Finally!!!
Chiodos Illuminaudio
Rating 10 out of 10
Why: Every song on this album is pure genius. Sure, they sound different now that they have a new singer but he's a GREAT singer. One of the interesting things the new singer does is he had a white noise effect on his voice, especially the screams making his voice sound sinister and strange.

I Guess I"ll post a song/poem/thing
In The Black of the Ocean/In the Red of the Fire
Some days I feel like burning
And I thing it would be nice
It would take away
All this coldness
So go ahead
Hold me back
Try to stop me
Go ahead
Go ahead
But I wonder
Would ice be nice?
to stop the pain
of life itself?
So go ahead
Hold me back
Try to stop me
Go ahead
Go ahead
I'll burn this world
I'll freeze this hell
I'll swim this ocean
I'll douse this fire
I can live on
I can bare the storm
I can cool the fire
Its all down to me
So go ahead
Hold me back
Try to stop me
Go ahead
Go ahead
the song was kind of inspired by a Robert Frost poem, I think it was called Fire and Ice actually.
